I had those for a liver transplant and a gallbladder removal same surgery took 9 to 12 hours I think about 14 years ago now and I remember when I got them taken out I was four it hurt so bad but the doctor did it really fast there was about 50 staples my scar looks like a hug peace sign with no circle on my whole abdomen

I Hate the staples ! I had them for my C-sections !! So bloody uncomfortable and painful to have removed!! I yelled at my doctor and told him I’m not a office product!!

Tbh the pain level is exactly whT you imagine, like having a splinter in ya and takin it out, tbh pain level was a 1 after 15 staples from me

It was so weird.

I had some in my head I cut them in half with wire cutters and they came out easy sideways.

Staples will form scabs around the end parts and that hurts when the staples are pulled out
