Imam Ahmed Desai is currently the imam of Masjid Quba in Bradford, He has had the privelage of studying under various scholars such as Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Motala Sahib; Mufti Shabbir Ahmed, etc. He successfully memorised the Holy Quran at a young age and then progressed to complete the Dars Nizaami course at Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyya Al-Islaamiya.
