Naval is really good at distilling ideas down to the essentials.

My favorite lines:
o You're not going to get rich renting out your time.
o You will get rich by giving society what it wants, but doesn’t know how to get at scale.
o If you want to be wealthy,
o What can you provide for society, that it does not know how yet to get,
o but it will want, that is natural to you, and within your skillset, your capabilities.

o And then you have to figure out how to scale it. Because if you just build one, that isn't enough.
o You gotta build hundreds, thousands, millions of them, so that everybody can have one.
o First, it starts with an act of creativity. First you created just because you want it, you know how to build it, and you need it.
o So you build it for yourself. Then you figure out how to get to other people. It's about distributing to everybody.
o The entrepreneurs job starts even before that which is creation. Entrepreneurship is an act of creating something new from scratch, predicting that society will want it, and then figuring out how to scale it and get it to everybody in a profitable way in a self-sustaining way.

Society always wants new things and you can *use technology and creativity to deliver it at scale.* Wich thing can you give that is in your skillset and society wants? First you *create it four yourself, * because you want it, then you figure it out how to get it for other people.

Money:
1. Society will pay you for creating things it wants
2. But society does not know how to yet create those things
3. Figure out what society wants within your skill set
4. Than build what it wants and scale it

Process:
1. First you build it for yourself
2. Then you figure out how to get it to other people
3. Then only rich people have it for a while
4. Then you figure out how to get it to everyone

Example: Shofar, now there is Uber

Entrepreneur ship:
1. The act of creating something new from scratch
2. Predicting that society will want it
3. Figuring out how to scale it
4. Get it to everyone in a sustainable way

Great points here but consider changing the use of "first world" and "third world" as they're out dated, confusing and demeaning. Though, amazing perspective as always, Naval 👏
