The location he used is not a proper location if you are dedicated to pricking yourself. That is a one off thing only meant for occasional healthcare visits. You can damage your nerves that gives you the sense of touch if you keep pricking yourself like how you see in this video. The proper way to poke yourself is on the sides of your fingers of you are doing this every day. A less painful location is on the side near of the base of your fingers where there are less sensitive nerves that will cause you to jump. You can chose other less painful location like somewhere on the SIDE of your arm between the elbow and wrist but it will take the highest level on your lancer and the same amount of force demonstrated in this video. Stay away from your tendons near your hand. Blood is blood no matter where you draw from. End finger sticking can be discouraging so try the other locations I mentioned.

Nice video, I bought Ambrosia Nightrider cgm to monitor glucose which works great with my Libre sensor, their alarm feature is very helpful during night, it gives alerts when readings are not in range.

Using a lancet on the middle of your finger is the most painful place--the side is better:) The cap on this does not pop off like all the lancet instructions I've seen (I'm new to this!). Thanks to your video, I was able to tell that this one screws off, so thanks so much!

The video is helpful, but it’s important for people to realize that a lancet should not be used more than once. The needle becomes dull and also there’s a risk of infection using a used lancet. So please. To new users, please know that using a lancet over and over is not ideal nor recommended.

Thank you for this. My new doctor has me testing again (the last three did quarterly Quest tests) and the new OneTouch set I have seems to be very poorly made. This morning I went through six strips before the lancet provided enough to test. Set on the highest number. I really hate it. At least I know I am testing correctly.

I'm still not getting it. What's the pull trigger on the bottom for if you're just using the trigger button??

My mom accidentally pulled the cocking control when she was trying to help me inserting the lancet what is the solution for this? I read from agamatrix jazz manual said it's ok but they didn't put a solution in the manual

I am facing problem of no piercing or puncturing onto my finger resulting in no blood sample. It seems the height of lancet is short and so not piercing. I have followed all your instructions, but the release button is not turning red. Please suggest a way out. Thanks
