I love Theo, he's great but I REALLY loved EA Wyll and I adore his actor, Lanre Malaolu. As someone who played a lot of EA, the early Wyll's story just had more flavor. I still miss him.

Man, I feel like this Wyll wouldve been so much more interesting. Being all more about his bravado and public image, his status as the Blade of Frontiers being granted by his warlock pact which he hides. This Wyll seems much more compelling and relatable, and definitely has more personality. Why did they change it???

And then if you romance him you get to see that vulnerable insecure part of him - no jokes, no puns, I miss EA Wyll sometimes, in EA I was really 50/50 who to romance in full game - Wyll or Astarion fr. The new one is good, don`t get me wrong, i feel like the EA Wyll just had so much more nuance to him, i`m glad we got to see his story with goblins a bit.

Its crazy because early access wyl got so much frack. People hated him thatd why they changed him, and now ppl are saying they want the old one back 😑😑😑

I didn't play EA but I'll be honest, he seems far too similar to Gale based on this clip. They make the same jokes, have the same grandiose and that sprinkle of cheesiness. I can see why people enjoyed this, I think his story was set up better, but in terms of how he interacts; he definitely reads as his own individual self now. Because again, this just feels like Gale 2 here.
