I know that it probably saves on time money and programming but I really kinda wish we could hear our characters speak all the time!

My Tav has only spoke 2 times in my playthough and I love it when they do.😭 I know it would be a lot of work to add in more Tav voice lines though.

Tav speaks with every other character, it's just very rare when they talk in actual cutscenes

Originally they were going to do full voices, but decided to leave it up to the players for a better roleplaying experience.
However, in those rare moments where you hear your character speak with a line of dialog that was forgotten in the files - Those rare moments are the highlight of the gameplay.
It's something so unique, and rare, that you almost feel like you've won when you discover a dialog line that they forgot to remove. I hope they never remove them, I hope they don't add more. Leave it as a treasure to discover.

My Tav scolded Lae'zel when I walked into the druid's grove. I thought I was imagining things for a moment LOL I really wish we had the option of having voiced lines

One of the reasons I love the durge origin is that you get to hear your durge's voice in act 3. I mean there's other reasons to enjoy a durge run, but that small little scene of getting to hear my durge speak is a gem

Coincidentally, my first playthrough was with a Durge Drow who romanced Astarion, and I had this moment in game... and I was blown away

This happened to me only once. When we ran into the gith on Risen Road. I about choked on my drink.

I was shocked when I hear my Durge saying "In the name of Bhaal" at the end of the game and now I am even more shoked

On one hand it helps my Roleplay to not hear a voiced character.

But on the other the Voice direction for Tav is stellar.

they should make it a DLC to have the tav speaks with their voices. Id pay for that, Id love to have mine talk and not have all those recordings wasted :C

I wish they added a voice to tav but gave an option to disable it in the settings. That way everyone's happy. Simple.

I wish there was a mode where you could get your Tav to speak all their lines. Like, they have you choose a voice and then you don’t get to hear your dialogue choices? Idk maybe it’s just me who’s a little disappointed.
