I love you all. Keep making what only you can make, and don't worry about the rest of the world. Make it real, and true to you!

Spot on! I just saw the Foo Fighters a couple of weeks ago. There was a moment during a song where I looked around the stadium at 40, 000 people and soaked it all in. This moment we were all sharing, regardless of race, age, gender, political views etc. That's why art is so important.

You re a smart, passionate, empathic man. It's refreshing to hear, mostly in your country, men like you. Sincerely, you have guts. I hope your friends could "hear" your voice. Merci and Ciao from a french italian dude in France!

a lot of people in our country run on the fuel of anger and outrage. This is probably to make themselves feel better about their own lives.

I had to go look it up. Did they absolutely nail that performance? Yes! Epic! Was it appropriate for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics? HECK NO!

"Really true art" is largely subjective. There is nothing wrong with not enjoying a piece of art. If the art you abhor is a mirror of the artist, and the artist is disgusting, we should enjoy looking at it? Of course not.

What is beautiful about this country (for how long who knows), we can each have our opinions. Thank you for respectfully and emphatically sharing yours. 😊

Standing in front of the corn field, all I wanted was a “If you build it, they will come.” quote. Appreciate the community you have built!

I won’t say anything but this “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬
The war we face is a spiritual one more than a physical one. People cannot be convinced otherwise till they open their eyes and God softens their hearts. That is all.

Big fan of the channel here and that's not going to change simply because we disagree on this topic. As far as the comments about Lauren Hill and Rage, I think boycotting artists who hate your racial group is actually a good idea. Never give someone who hates you for no other reason than your identity your money. If it were a white artist acting like that towards minority groups, the establishment itself would nuke their career and rightfully so. As far as the ceremony itself, while there was indeed a French historical reference in the opening ceremony, the portion that looked like a vaudeville version of the last supper, whether intentional or not, offended a lot of Christians legitimately. Even if they were not doing so intentionally, there was also nudity in this performance piece that was seen world-wide and even little kids could see it. As an aside, I personally believe it was partially an intended mockery of Christianity, but now they're backtracking after the backlash. I myself am only culturally Christian, not a fundamentalist who takes the bible literally, but I respect the rights of those people who are much more devout than me to be offended. In this secular western society we live in today, if a Christian performance group was putting on a performance that was seen as mocking to any other religious group, the LGBT, or even the left more broadly, whether it was intended or not, the backlash would be huge and the culprit would likely be cancelled even if they apologized. So since there is no reciprocity in situations where the roles are reversed, I agree with the religious community's right to give the other side a taste of their own medicine in view of the modern left's constant claiming offense at everything they don't like.

Gojira's performance took place at the Conciergerie, a historic Parisian building that once served as a courthouse and prison. This setting was chosen for its historical significance, as it was the last place Marie Antoinette was held before her execution during the French Revolution. The band performed a fiery rendition of "Ah! Ça ira, " a revolutionary song from the French Revolution era. Their performance began with a theatrical element featuring a guillotined Marie Antoinette, directly referencing the building's revolutionary history.

Those people that mock God don't ruin my day, as you seem to think. People mock God everywhere I go. I owe my life to him. I was so lost and nearly dead. When I called his name, he was there instantly. He waits and worries over us, no matter how much we push him away. So I pray and remind him once more that I love him. That makes for the best day! Peace out. Love the channel!
