Some "Natural Dentists" prefer not to fill a small cavity, saying they don't want to put forien matter in. I disagree because look how bad untreated they can get. I had a small cavity 7 months ago. Went in for a cleaning and was told that on my last visit, they noted it. They didn't tell me.
This time, they filled it. He said the x-ray didn't show how deep it was till he opened it up. He said he was still able to fill it, though. Much longer, and I'd be looking at a root canal and crown.
After your 6 month cleaning, ask:
