Incredible, absolutely incredible. Neil & Chris had better not retire — at this rate, there’d be riots lol PSBs aren’t a band, they’re wisdom, comedy, irony and a phenomenon. Keep going both👍 Had to add this extra little memory: the first time I heard of the PSBs was when they appeared on BBC’s TOTP tv programme. Just two amazing musicians- one brilliant vocalist and one brilliant keyboard wizard, with a reel-to-reel unit in the background having a “keep music live” sticker attached. Then the footsteps of West End Girls started, which became a rhythm and was joined by the baseline. A simple but elegant combination that’s remained to me one of the most imaginative intros I’ve ever heard, and has remained one of my all time favourite pieces of music.

Absolutely amazing night at Funny Girls - possibly the hottest venue ever, we all left soaking wet! 🥵😂 The PSBs were fantastic and singing along to this was definitely a highlight. I wish I could do it all over again!

Thanks for posting this, I kept wondering if this actually happened as I remembered as it was such an incredible moment, the audience were so up for this gig, met a few people who hadn’t seen you before so they really got a surprise.
Let’s hope we get chance to do it again 😉
