It`s easy to tell if a Getrag SD420 is from a SMG or a Manual.

If it HAS this ammount of play in the selector shaft, it is a SMG. If it is firm, it's a manual.

BUT NO WORRIES, it`s kinda easy to convert one.

Google for Getrag 420g SMG to Manual and you will find a bunch of info about it. I'm doing it as you read this and probably would do a video for it.
