Peep’s death was what really taught me the value of human life. This guy was a voice for so many kids (myself included) who felt totally hopeless and alone, but he himself spent the last chunk of his life believing that nobody cared about him. Meanwhile the comment section for this video is full of those kids that felt represented by him, who would give an arm and a leg to bring him back. Imagine if he knew how much we’d miss him? I think that’s a major reason why I’m still here, I’ve learned that no matter who you are there’re always plenty of people who will beg you to stay.

Lil Peep and Marshmello recorded this before his death but after he died Marshmello was unsure if this should be uploaded but Lil peep's mom asked if he could publish this song and so he did. And Marshmello has said : "Peep brought an excitement to music that was unparalleled to anybody I've ever met, we started an idea together, that unfortunately we were never able to officially finish together. When I listen to this track now I get chills wishing he could hear it. This record is dedicated to Peep's mother, family, friends and his fans. Gus will live forever through his music and that is something we should all be extremely thankful for." so this is basically Marshmello's tripute to Peep...
