Teeny hint. The little black button on the presser foot can be engaged to accommodate the thickness at the start of the row. Press the front of the foot down, push the button and the foot will be level for few stitches.

Hello. I just learn how to make the rope bowls/baskets. I started with plain clothesline rope then switched to braided nylon rope. I love the stability and color choices. I made one oval and the rest round. I made one large one that took 200 yards of rope, and I added wood handles. the smaller ones I made rope handles. It is so much fun and addicting. lol. thank you for teaching square baskets with fabric insert. I love them.
