How to apply a formula to an entire column in Excel? That's simple! In this tutorial you'll learn how spread an already existing formula over the whole column. We will use a formula that has fixed cell links and a also variable cell links. By the way: If you want to instantly apply the formula to all cells in a column, you can simply do a double-click on the fill handle.

This tutorial for applying a formula to multiple cells or an #entire #column in Excel should work for Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013, Excel 2016, Excel 2019 and also Office 365. This also works with Microsoft Office on a Mac and also with open source software such as OpenOffice or Libre Office.

That's not the entire column. It is the first 10 elements of an infinite column. If you have 10 thousand lines of data this would take a while...

what a waste of 1 minute - you have to drah down 1000s of cells which takes a long time - arrayfromula or fill are the answers
