Thank you very much for this sir. Very helpful! But what about when you're just on your first empty column and you want to create a range of values, say from 0 to 10 in increments of 0.1. How do you apply the formula and fill out the column down to the end value of the range without dragging the fill handle down to the bottom? Using the method of double clicking the plus sign wouldn't work since you're just filling out your first column

This little trivial thing is my biggest pet peeve in Excel. From an old hand Lotus 1-2-3, I don't know why Excel is unwilling to move the active cell when you Shift-arrow to the left. It's such a small thing, but it would be so helpful to allow you to "ride" the data block.

Is this the same if column is blank? For entering expense. Nothing is there until I’m ready for input, but I would like to just key in dollar amount in cell and have it calculate
