Thanks for your explanation！！ Is ZF8HP50 the same cluth clearance with the ZF8HP45？How to us feeler guage measure the A CLUTH clearance between the preasure plate and the snap spring，there are a lot of salient point on A preasure plate.

Hi, excellent explanation! I have a BMW 520D with the transmission ZF8HP50Z, last month we have changed the mechatronic it was giving code 420321. However now is giving code 2AF800, 421343 and p1343. This after dealer reprogrammed the transmission. The valve body is new from ZF and the car do the same as before changing the VB. On D when you try to accelerate it goes to emergency, R does even move, and they get stuck on N. Do you have experienced this situation or do you know what can be? ZF is telling the problem is not from the VB but from one or two clutches changing dramatically. Thanks a lot for your time. Nelson

Hi, I have a bad vibration in 6th gear on 8HP75z from 1500rpm under load? The gearbox was rebuilt and the flywheel replaced. The torsional vibration damper was also checked by BMW. The problem persists and no-one can figure out why its happening. Any idea what could be causing this?
