Love my classic 3. Once you learn the 3 it is a set and forget. Nice video and great channel

I have a JR and two Big Joes, a series 1 and a series 2. I use a Fireboard2 Drive. I have one for each. The Jr serves a purpose for quick cooks but the Big Joes are my go to grills. If I had it to do again I would just go with the Big Joe 1. I have had nothing but issues with the air lift hinge . My Big Joe 1 is 12 years old and still has the old style cam/rocker style hinge and it still works fine. If I were just getting started I would go with the USA made oval style kamado.

Can u Use the konnected joe during rain? In the manual is written "never Use during rain".

Yeah and just add a smart thermometer to the classic and it really becomes set and forget. The problem with the Konnected is that it can never be upgrade. The electronics yah have is what you're stuck with.

I have the big joe series 3 and the joe jr. Those grills are my favorite kamado grills. I did help my friend. He has the classic 3 and for 3 months he had the Konnected joe. The problems he and I have has with Konnected Joe is the grid expander did not work when he had the slow roller in and moisture got into to the electronics even with a cover. Also it would over shot his temps so he gave it away to his ex wife. He said he will not buy another konnected joe again, but He does love series 3 joes and the joe jr. My biggest grip with kamado joe is the joe jr daisy wheel. Do wish the would put same type Kontrol tower top as series 2and 3 on the joe jr in stead of buying and after market top.
