When I was in the Marines, I remember being mad that I could only get one protein serving, but I could get multiple carb servings. I was getting in two workouts a day most weedays.

Recently my Dr put me on Rybelsus. I tried the lowest dose for 3 weeks. Never sicker! I quit it to be able to have my colonoscopy and thank GOD for Miralax! It got that nasty stuff out of my system. My A1c was 5.9 and the nurse still doesn't know why the dr did it.

Best advice is cut out all grain and grain based food, even whole grains, your health will improve dramatically.

Have you ever looked into guidelines from other countries? The guidelines of other western countries are very similar. But how many of them have such a huge problem with obesity and related diseases as the US? Yeah, exactly.
Also, how did they measure how many people were eating according to their recommendations?

You can eat as many McDonald’s cheeseburgers as you everyday and as long as you have vitamins and stay at maintenance calories you will not have any health issues
