Adding digital signature block to PDF

Demonstrating how to add a digital signature block permanently for CAC signing to a PDF document.

Great video! I would just add that if you don't want to have Acrobat make all those extra form fields (i.e., assuming you will just delete them) you can click the 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 link where it says “Form field auto detection is ON" (you can see that at the bottom at 1:06). That will take you into Acrobat's preferences and you can deselect the option to “Automatically detect Form fields." That way, you can just add the field(s) you want.

I feel like my head is going to explode. I spent an UNGODLY amount of time try to get digital signatures to work when creating a form yesterday. And yet, somehow, after watching this video, when I went back to my form... I was able to do it!

This is going to sound so preposterous, but the difference appeared to be taking the mouse and creating a custom rectangle shape, rather than just clicking the signature box and letting it automatically add itself to the form.

IDK am I making sense? All I gotta say is I felt like a moron yesterday, and a slightly smarter moron this morning when I figured things out. LOL.

Question: so i have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and used to be able to add digital signature blocks any where in the document manually. I do not know why it now only allows me to add signature block NOT digital signature. There is no where i can find the icon. Your help is greatly appreciated!
