Things get weird when Les tracks Bigfoot in the smoky mountains of Tennessee.
Hiking far off the beaten path, Les searches remote forested land deep in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains with Scott Carpenter, a local researcher claiming to have interactions with Bigfoot in the area. Scott’s theories leave Les feeling jumpy. Or maybe that’s the black bears. There are more than 1,500 black bears that live in these mountains. Les knows that where bears thrive, humans can survive, too. But, is it possible that something else could be surviving in the unknown wild? A higher intelligence? Something that doesn’t want to be found? Battling his own psyche, Les enters the Bigfoot hot spot, planting hidden cameras and scent traps, in an effort to elicit an interaction, seeking irrefutable proof. But the longer Les hunts for Sasquatch, the weirder things get.

Sometimes a Bigfoot sees Les stroud, and tell his friends, and no one really believes him.

2:50 RIP Scott Carpenter, who died August 4th 2023, only 59 years old.
Your contribution to Sasquatch research, especially in Dr. Ketchum's DNA project, is invaluable!

Wanted to come here & spend some time with Scott. I'm so thankful he shared his thoughts & theories about them being Nephilim. Many people agree including me. Scott is definitely unique & irreplaceable. He freely helped many people including myself & my family. When I told my husband that Scott had passed he sincerely & very sadly said "who are we gonna talk to now"? He has left a massive void in the Sasquatch community & will be greatly missed. Until we meet again Scott, "Happy Trails".

No matter what perilous situation Les is in, I only find it relaxing somehow.

A wise man once told me "We aren't afraid of being alone in the woods. We are afraid of not being alone when we think we are while in the woods."

Whoever plays bass guitar for the intro music has such a good dirty growly bass tone.

I’ve always appreciated Les’s honesty. Back to survivorman admitting his feelings about not wanting to kill things and how he honestly feels at the time.. once again he shows real honestly in this series.. the comments about how he feels something is there, it’s so obvious that he is just trying to be as honest as he can in each moment.
I think that’s why I like this series so much, it’s because i feel I can 100 percent trust what Les is saying.. he just oozes honesty

I never skip the theme tune. Its so simple but the bass line always makes me pull the stank face.

Top work Les!
