Giving people antibiotics for colds is one our big problems.

America has enough examples of how horrid it is to have private greed handle social needed programs!

This EXACTLY like the 1920’s. Where companies created crap shantytown’s for their employees to live in.
So that any money the employee spent went back to the company

This is only going to further exacerbate the need for Single Payer. Private Healthcare is dangerous because it is not concerned with providing adequate healthcare. It is only concerned with generating profits.

insurance companies already say what medicines they will or will not pay for. It's called a formulary

👍!👍!👍!👍!Not just drive through medication pick up anymore. Now you won't even have to get out your car to be examined. Soon enough, it wouldn't suprise me if they try to automate care(unless you can afford to see a real doctor). Some system, that depending on the severity of a persons symptoms (or unless you have a top tier, most expensive level of insurance.), you don't get treated by an actual doctor or human being. Almost like the self-checkout line at the grocery store. These people can never have enough control. It would be one thing if they just wanted control over their own life, but they can't figure that out. So, they project on to others, & because of their wealth (which gives them power, because of the system we have), they get away with never addressing their own internal issues. Futhermore, then they use that wealth to implement rules that screw over everyone else, except those like them, who are wealthy.

And that's where the free market gets you.

No, there will not be any lawsuits for malpractice. When you sign all that paperwork, a clause will add that you must submit to arbitration for any disputes medical or otherwise. Don't sign, hit the bricks. And all is well in the land of increasing profits.

How about we throw out these insurance companies to begin with? I'd rather go to a doctor not an insurance company to find out what medical care I need. Since the doctor has the ACTUAL medical training.

Care clinic sucks. I had poison ivy, needed a steroid shot to clear it up, and fast. They gave me pills and cordizone, I had to go to another walk in clinic that had steroid shots. And for other reasons they weren't medical "professionals" they might have degrees but they were not professionals dealing with other issues that were unrelated factors in my visit.
