As an American, I absolutely loved my experience in Egypt. The history is a given, but the people and the food just blew me away. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, I was made to feel welcome wherever I went. I can’t wait to go back someday.

As an Egyptian, this video made me so so happy!! You guys are unbelevably respectful to our culture and country. Im happy you took your time to get used to it. I admit it sometimes does get really hectic, even if you are born and raised here ahaha. I understand that many westerners arent accoustamed to that, but you guys appreciated it and got to see a whole different side. You are always welcome here!

1987...in Cairo...lost, looking at a map. A guy comes over and says he will take me to my destination. A regular guy, not a taxi. This guy ended up showing me around the city for 3 days. And after travelling around the country and ending up back in Cairo I met up with him again for another few days of sightseeing around the city. He even took me to see his family. One of the nicest guys I have ever met. And he wanted nothing in return.

As an Egyptian I would like to thank you for being so honest and so understanding of our economical conditions you spoke so respectfully about people unlike other YouTubers who always speak badly about their experiences in Egypt
you are always welcome in Egypt and I hope you would come again where you would visit other places that could be less crazy than Cairo and Giza 😅like Alexandria, Siwa, Luxor, Aswan, Fayoum, Portrsaeed, Ismailia, and Seuz you would get different experiences in each ❤

As an Egyptian living in Australia, I really like your video, but I advise anyone will visit Egypt, don’t ever accept invitation from anybody online you don’t know, don’t deal with anyone you don’t know who offers you change currency, it is absolutely very dangerous. God Bless you

I went to Egypt and had a smashing good time. I can't wait to go back. We traveled from Cairo to Aswan. We got our Visa in the airport for $25 cash, easy peasy. A little bit of advance research and you can find out all the things you need to know. We used Memphis Tours and that was a fantastic experience. Do look where you walk; to avoid an unpleasant fall. The sidewalks, pavements, and tourist sites are very uneven with holes and broken paving slabs. Also lots of stairs. I disagree with eating street food. Do set your own itinerary. Don't waste your time at sites you're not interested in. Your hotel may be able to convert a small amount of dollars into Egyptian pounds, until you can get to an ATM. Some vendors are happy to accept U.S. dollars but it's harder for you to decide if you're overpaying. Better to have a selection of Egyptian pounds. You'll need lots of small denominations for tips.

This is by far one of the most flattering videos I’ve seen as an Egyptian. Thank you so much for sharing all of this so respectfully, and wish you visit again soon.

You guys are so adorable and respectful. you truly showed to people the essence of what it's like to visit egypt. And as an Egyptian who loves history and various cultures i recommend visiting Alexandria ( my hometown) in the winter, the weather is amazing and you'll see and live the transition from pharaonic civilisation to Roman and Greek. You'll feel the mix between egyptian and Mediterranean cultures in every aspect.
And after that you should visit sharm el sheikh or hurghada to have a glimpse of the nature on the coasts of the red sea and.
You're always welcomed here and I'll be more than happy to help you with anything.❤️🇪🇬

Thanks a lot I'm Egyptian and I'm proud that you loved my country. You've been very honest in your review about Cairo and Giza. Still I wish you've talked about the nice areas that we have such as the fantastic beaches, the museums and historical spots, ancient churches and mosques, and all the other fun activities which can be done in Egypt. Still, I am delighted for such a review which concentrated on the Egyptians themselves. Thanks

Loved this video. You guys are so natural together, totally down to earth. My teenage daughter and I, who are South African, travel to Egypt in December and these type of videos help put us at ease.

Thanks for this excellent piece. Cairo is not for the faint of heart. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience, but can be challenging. So many first timers post content based on their experience, but the negative experience or perception they have is based on ignorance or bias. You’ve given good advice, showing respect, positivity, and empathy. Love what you’ve done here; you’ve got a standing Cairo dinner invite from our family 😊
