Very useful, I did not know about the breaklights, the mirrors folding and the tank opener. Thanks for posting!

Great tips about modern Volvo’s. After 3 years of ownership of a V40, I am still finding out about its features from watching your video’s and then applying them to my car. Many thanks.

I knew pretty much most of the video. I'm on my third volvo in 32 years. The thing I wanted to mention, that folding mirrors is available ONLY in certain model packages. My 2012 s80 does not have folding mirrors. I have to fold them by hand. It does have the memory like shown for tilting the mirror lenses. Nice video.

I must congratulate you on your outstanding, professional grade videos. I hope Volvo HQ in Sweden is giving you an "attaboy" on these too. I own a 2009 like yours only with black lower interior, brushed aluminum trim (instead of the wood look) and a tan headliner. Your hidden secrets are amazing. I can't believe these arein the owner's documentation. I am going to read the owners manual from beginning to end to refresh my memory with your secrets. I had no idea any of these features even existed. I have never owned a Volvo until I bought mine used 2009 from a friend last year with only 80, 000 km on it. It had never seen winter until I bought it. He is the original owner and he wintered in Naples Florida. The car was stored in a heated underground condo parking lot during the Canadian winters. My XC70 is equipped the some Thule add-ons (roof boxes - Thule 612 Hyper XL in silver and black large that matches my paint and the low profile Thule Flow 606). I also have the Thule EasyFold 9032 bike rack that mounts in the hitch receiver and carries two mountain bikes. I will be posting some pictures of my configuration once the snow melts here in Toronto. All of my interior car mats including the rear cargo area are custom designed by WeatherTech. I have one set for winter and another lighter set for the warmer weather. Barry T.

Worked perfectly. I've tried several maintenance reminder clearing suggestions for my 2013 S60 T5 AWD and this was the first to work. You are a problem solver, many thanks. Now, if Volvo would have solved the oil ring issue for the T5 engine of this year, I'd be a happy owner.

THANK YOU!
OMG! Last time Good Year changed the oil for $100 and they could not reset the service reminder in 30 minutes!!!! Thank to you I did in 3 minutes. From now on I am in charge.
You inspired me to do my 1st personal hands on oil change tomorrow and I'm over 50.
Dealership wants to charge $110 plus I would have to drive 2:40 minutes round trip costing around $90 plus the wait time probably another 2-3 hours. I have the Castrol Edge oil and the filter for $50. So basically Doing the job myself saves me $150 minus my work. Still at least $100.

"I never knew of this feature until I open the owners manual". What a great reminder! (lol, seriously). I didn't know about the wipers service position; neither the tail lights working as brake lights with the tailgate open. (It didn't apply to my vehicle, S-80).
Very informative, detail oriented, and easy to follow video.
Thank you

I found out mirrors parking function about 2 years ago, by being bored in my volvo while waiting for my wife. I was always wondering how many owners know about that function. it was my personal "holy grail" hahaha no more, BTW You are doing awesome job ! keep it up

I have recently purchased a 2010 xc70 with 67k. Original owner, looks brand new! I loved it yesterday, and love it now even more since I found your channel. I have always worked on all my vehicles and thought, I may not do so well with this…you’ve fixed that! Thank you and to answer your question….I knew none of these, but knew them on all my other cars! Thank you for the time it takes to do this, no small feat in itself.

The green pull for the fuel flap is really useful.... I had the light come fuel flap moduel go wrong on me and you need this to get the fuel flap open to get fuel in. The Volvo garage manager didn't know about this when mine went wrong...thanks for the tips.

Did know about resetting service reminder, didn't know about wiper service position, didn't know about reversing mirrors but did know about folding in/out. Didn't know about brake lights with tailgate up, excellent video, thank you!

Thank you, as an owner since '88! I think the maintenance cut off and brake light tail up were my favorites. Stay well!
