The thing is most people don’t care as long as

1) You don’t have to constantly make it everyone’s problem and be the center of the spotlight because being trans is your only personality

2) Leave kids and teenagers out of your agenda to confuse the younger minds to make a choice they could forever regret simply because they enjoy feminine things as a boy or masculine things as a girl.

3) Just like you want me to respect the life you live and mentality, you need to also respect the fact that I don’t agree with your ideology & in my mind you have a mental illness. Biology is quite precise on how many sex’s there and and what yours is whether or not what you identify as. You don’t like it ? That’s fine we don’t have to agree. We can agree to disagree and leave it at that. I won’t get into it with you about your mentality and I expect the same from you and we can leave each-other alone

Just like most people could care less if your gay as long as you’re not in everyone’s face about it. Part of this issue is that conservatives don't understand that there is a difference between social gender and biological sex. This is actually the case in any nation that speaks English because the English language does not have in it's structure the practice of using gender for something other than describing biological male and female in living things. For example, in Germany, gender is applied to virtually every noun and I mean Male vs Female or masculine vs feminine in non living things. This is often why many countries accept the concept of gender fluidity more readily.

But there is also confusion among the liberals as well since they also don't understand these concepts fully. In the United States there is no "third gender" as there is in man other countries, especially Asia. So to an American You can only have men and women. So people born males who feel feminine don't have their own category here so since they are only exposed to femininity in biological women they think that to live a feminine life they have to "transition" to woman. It's all they know. In Asia and many other places there is a third gender so if you are born male but choose to be feminine you get a special category for yourself and everyone accepts it and you and all the rest of society are happy. For example, in Thailand there are what we call ladyboys. They never claim to be women. They don't say they identify as women. If you meet one for romantic purposes they will tell you they are a ladyboy. If you don't know what that is they will explain it to you. They are not shunned by their family to the extent they are here. They walk around freely and nobody bothers them. They have their place. But here there is no place so they simply make do within the context of Western civilization.

If someone appears as a woman when seen in public, why would you need to know what sexual organs they had at birth before referring to them as a woman. How is that a useful basis for labeling? WHY DO YOU CARE?
