Okay… this might be a hot take because I am such an introvert… but I LOVE walking and coffee dates. Usually my coffee dates turn into walking dates if they go well and they could always turn into a lunch/dinner date if they go really well. I just get super overwhelmed when there are too many people around, but like obviously you don’t want to go on a date with a stranger alone, so coffee at a coffee shop and a walk around in a public place is kind of nice. At least for me. That is how every serious relationship in the last 10years of mine has started. I never end up doing well with anyone I meet for drinks… but again that is just me😂

I have a story that will hopefully restore a little faith the dating area - day 2 of knowing my husband or more like 18hr or so, he took the day off of work and he took me to one of those arcades with the mini golf, bowling...etc and we had so much fun! We played all the games and did the mini golf and we just instantly clicked like we'd been best friends for years. And I found out later that he never took days off of work but he did for me. We still go on our arcade dates, and yesterday was our 10yr anniversary ❤️🌞
We're just happy to be together so it doesn't take much for us to have fun, I love our simple life and am so incredibly lucky to have my husband 🙏

The girl in the first video, I felt that so hard. I asked my crush to senior prom. We had been friends for five-ish years at this point. He dated one of my (now ex) friends early on, but she was ab*sive, and I helped him through. Not only did he never respond to my ask, he avoided me like the plague. My mom’s a seamstress, so she wanted to hand make my prom dress with me. I was so excited, but she said I had to do extra household chores to “earn” the money for the cost of the fabric. I agreed. Weeks pass, I try talking to him, texting him, all the while making my dress with my mom.

He ended up going to prom with someone I’d never met. My friends all went to prom and texted me about it. I never did wear that dress. I stayed home that night and cried while I did some chores around the house. I felt like the “bad ending” of Cinderella. I ended up donating that dress to goodwill or something.

It seems a bit trivial to me now as an adult, married to a wonderful man I met in college who loves and respects me, but when I look back, I still feel the hurt. The confusion. What did I do wrong? Was I that repulsive to him? I had self confidence problems, still kinda do. That boy still wanted to be friends with me after that, but I kinda just faded into the background of the friend group after that until high school graduation, then went my own way.

I agree with her. Sometimes, I really can’t understand what’s going through guy’s heads. At least I married an absolute catch of a man. Eleven years of marriage, and two kids, and I still get butterflies sometimes when I look at him.

Mckamey manor started as an extreme haunted house and then turned into a literal torture chamber. He offered thousands of dollars to anybody who made it through but he would just keep going and going (like several hours) until the person gave up or just had to leave bc they couldn’t spend days at the place. He and his workers would lock people in coffins, freezers, shove their head in and out of water, cut their hair, nails, knocked out teeth, force feed them things that would make them sick. It was basically an excuse for that psychopath to torture people with their “consent”. Oh and they were given safe words but a lot of them said that they would ignore them the first few times. Shocker, but the guy is in prison or going to prison for physical and sexual assault.
