I can’t say that The Bends is their best, but it’s a contender for my favorite just because of how catchy and accessible the album is. It’s what got me into the rest of their discography

The Bends is easily Radiohead's most catchy and accessible album. And it has just enough experimentation and quirkiness to set it apart from other albums of the time.

However, OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows are the Holy Trinity of Radiohead albums.

While I don't think The Bends is the best Radiohead Album, I have to say that some of my favorite Radiohead songs come off of it.
Fake Plastic Trees, Bullet Proof and Street Spirit are incredible Radiohead Songs that are on repeat for me constantly

The Bends would be any other band's best album. It's fantastic, but Radiohead is too good.

I first started Radiohead with 'the Bends' last year and it's one of my favourite albums of all time!
It may not be as great as the others, but I honestly think it's an underrated Masterpiece.

The Four Horsemen of the Radiohead Apocalypse:
• “Pablo Honey is easily their best album.”
• “Creep is the only Radiohead song I really enjoy.”
• “Oh, Radiohead! They were kind of like… a one-hit wonder, right?”
• “My favourite bands are Muse and Coldplay.”

My favorite two Radiohead albums are probably OK Computer and The Bends. I'm a sucker for more acoustic tracks which is why I consider the latter to be my favorite from time to time

It might not be their best, but The Bends walked so that OK Computer could run.

One thing I do love about the Bends is how smooth and concise of a listen it is. It’s some great easy listening before getting into the more complex stuff.

Anyone else's favorite is Moon Shaped Pool?It just speaks to me, probably because it was my first Radiohead album and I was at a pretty bad place mentally when I heard it.

It's essentially their "Rubber Soul". It sees the band on the precipice of a major artistic leap and has some genuinely great moments. But top to button and as a cohesive piece of work it pales in comparison to what was to come.

The bends is my favourite Radiohead album. I think it blends the raw grunge of Pablo honey and the experimentation of ok computer so it's like the best of both worlds. That's not to say that it's clear or anything, they've got an insane discog

The Bends is like my first love. Definitely not the best one, but it has something special that the others don't have to my heart. Also that's the album that make me a huge radiohead fan.

(The best one is In Rainbows btw)

The Bends probably would be the best album of any alternative rock band, but we are talking about Radiohead

If it weren't for seeing Fake Plastic Trees on VH1 Classics, IDK if I would even be a Radiohead fan today. The Bends is probably Radiohead at their most cohesive and emotive. Don't forget that OK Computer came out of their struggle to write an album that they personally felt was better than The Bends.

I love that in many bands discographies The Bends would likely hover at the top of their discog rankings (as it's an incredible album), but because Radiohead have so consistently put out some of the best albums of the past fifty years it ends up towards the bottom half of theirs.
It's a real testament to the quality of their music, because I genuinely love The Bends

The Bends is the most listenable album Radiohead has ever made. It's not the most groundbreaking, nor the most technically impressive, but it's the album that I catch myself listening to and coming back to the most. Every song on the album is an absolute banger (except maybe Sulk)

I don't think it's their best either, but it's easily their catchiest one, come on melon
