I really disliked the way Stephen A used to talk to Max and I would scream at my TV for him to stand up for himself. So it makes me very happy to see somebody that actually fires back at him because all the other ex players kiss his ass cause they know he can help them with their media careers. JJ knows that even though he is new to the company he is easily the best person talking about the sport right now on ESPN and it’s not even close. Stephen A can’t get him kicked off he’s too damn good.

Not playing just because, is common among Klutch clients. It's under the guise of player empowerment.
Look at the main klient, he immediately puts himself in the injured list when AD came back from injury then only returns when they're going to face an easier opponent for a better narrative.
