I loved Zootopia because it pulled off so many things most movies fail to do. It incorporated cell phones without them being op or not usable at all. It addressed things like government corruption and the negative effects of stereotyping others. It showed how people turn out, depending on if they give in or fight those stereotypes. Plus, it did something I think my hero academia should have done. It made the protagonist optimistic, but not unrealistic. Judy doubted her dream job as a cop multiple times in the movie, she has real trauma from when she was attacked and scarred by a fox as a child, she honestly needed support from nick and didn't overlook it's importance, even if she acknowledged it wasn't enough all the time.

It's been 9 months - and now we are getting zooptopia 2 and I'm excited to for it to come out.

I think zootopia too would be darker cause the thing that made puss in boots the last wish enjoyable was the atmosphere and the darkness around the movie I mean it’s Disney they need better ideas if they want to suceed

DreamWorks does lack dark theory, while this movie had some dark parts to it, that deleted scene should have been there in my opinion cause honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they went for a more darker film. not going too far but have more a darker edge to it, kids won't know what's going on anyway, you really think about it. But I hope the next zootopia 2 has the same formula details in themselves but I bet it would change a bit, and focus more on nick and Judy's kids if possible. Weird to see that now haha

Many people thinks that Zootopia is way better than Moana but Disney focused on Moana because it is kid friendly. They should focus equally on every movies before dream works takes over

Tbh, i would like a darker Zootopia, it could show kids about discrimination and how others are treated diffrent about how they look instead of who they are

The original was pretty dark. Discrimination is a dark topic for sure, but I think the intended Tween audience will feel it. That tearjerker of a flashback that Nick has was just a tip of the iceberg as far as who he is today. I just hope Disney doesn't make shit weird. Pretty sure everyone here knows they're 100% gonna make shit weird...

As an adult I loved zootopia....same as star wars clone wars series. If adults could look past the animation, the storyline, foreshadowing, nuance make them very intriguing. Those go straight over kids heads.

One idea and guess, that has been onto my 13 year old mind for a while is that..

If the people in Zootopia is where preds and preys live peacefully together.. and knowing that some animals are dependent on eating meat.. how are they able to survive without eating any meat..? Well, one possible answer to that is.. that the preds are turned into that of vegans. But what if they secretly have an illegal farm where they tend to sell meat, which is against the law of zootopia itself. Or there are countless predators who kill in secret without leaving any evidences, Maybe even bunny cop here would be sent into the case by it. Hell, maybe it can even give a moral story saying that not all preys and preds are good. They're all bad in their own ways, With predators slaughtering preys in secret for they're cravings, while preys are the ones who'd discriminate and loathe the predators itself. Making the predators having a hard time fitting into a society full of hatred on their being themselves, putting them down and making them a villain to the eyes while the preys come out top and be seen as the victim. The predators getting bullied, feared at, and etc etc. But hey, this is just an idea and a guess on what kind of plans they've set on making the movie, but its pretty much a dark one and not really suitable for an audience of younger kids.. and shouldn't really be added in the story of zootopia considering it itself being a kids movie. Just needed to get all of this information out of my 13-year old head hehe, but what do you guys think of it?
