**** HOW TO INVEST UK ****

Financial education is all about knowing where to start, no matter how much you're starting with. If you want to know how to invest as a teen, or how to invest as a more mature investor, some basic investing knowledge is essential.

First, you must do some basics, like getting rid of high interest debt (such as credit cards), building an emergency fund and perhaps most importantly INVEST IN YOURSELF. Why invest in yourself? Just ask Warren Buffett!

When you've done that you can start thinking of where to invest. Knowing how to invest 1000, the best way to invest 10000 and how to invest 100k or more starts with a simple process, which is explained in basic terms in this video.

Having looked at possibly dozens of investment channels, I can say with some authority that this is one of the very best. I particularly like the fact that there is no crypto nonsense here.

The desk scene looks best by far to me Chris. I really liked it and with the occasional B roll added in.

Desk background for me. It fits nicely with the topic of tax free investing nicely. Love your videos. Your expertise and presentation skills are excellent. A stand out on YT for me.

Definitely desk for me. Feels like we’re having a chat…well I’m just listening anyway!
Just found your channel and soaking up all the info. As a stay at home mum with limited earning potential right now I’ve really appreciated the videos on maximising savings and investing. Thank you 👍🏽

Prefer the blue background as less to be distracted by. Also would appreciate a video breaking down SIPPS and workplace pensions (Specifically NHS ones if poss) - I'm 22 and have no real idea on pensions as not taught anything in schools but have a good grasp of ISA's so far etc!

I like the blue background more because the desk one can be distracting, in my opinion. The video was excellent, as always. Keep it up!

Tax planning is always so much more effective than complex investment instruments- great video Chris.

Slightly prefer the blue screen 👍 that and the front on camera shot makes the video flow better imo...if that makes sense.

Either style is good, the oration is still very endearing, although I'd stick to front on only. Comedy clips also very welcome.
Video Maybe the Ins and Outs of SIPPS.... Carry forward etc etc. Being self employed with a net of <£40k but trying to maximise contributions, I'd find this interesting.

I like the desk for when you’re chatting and don’t need charts / diagrams. The blue screen works better for certain videos

Another excellent video Chris. Prompted some questions for the local IFA I'm meeting next week. Oh and I like the office setting.

Excellent content, thanks Chris, i've been gearing retirements investments to be as tax efficient as possible for a number of years, always good to hear more tips around this. How about doing a future piece on investments for our kids, i transferred my daughters government trust funds, which basically earned very little interest into Vanguard Jisa's which are doing much better, also setup pensions for them, but would appreciate more tips around this . Big thumbs up 👍👍👍👍

Another fantastic video, great content and information. I prefer the desk, seems more personal.. but do what ever is easier for you. I’m guessing most of us watch for the information over the background 👍🏼

Very intelligent and well-spoken. Reminds me of how I made my first million investing aggressively in stocks trading, with the help of a licensed broker I met at a finance seminar in Europe who trades my funds for me.

The desk view is better. And no need for the side camera shots IMO ;)

Great video as always! Nicely boiled down to the key points avoiding all the complexity. A bit of a niche topic but excess reportable income seems to be an eggshell that a lot of people don't know about. Might be worth a video in future? Haven't fully got my head around it!

Really useful video Chris. Would love to be at the stage where we can invest over £100k in a year! Wouldn’t we all?!

I really like your desk setup 👍👍👍

Hi Chris, ive used all my allowance for my ISA for the year and i have £20000 invested in a general account. Should i put this in my SIPP, leave it in my General account or wait and and put it in my ISA next year?
I cant get my head around selling my General account which I bought at a lower price and buying the same shares back in a SIPP or an ISA at a higher price.
Thanks for any advice Ian
