Nasa's Ingenuity aircraft was due to ascend to an altitude of three metres above the Martian surface, hover for 30 seconds and rotate before descending to a gentle landing. Data confirming the outcome should reach Nasa three hours later

IF we are told the atmosphere on Mars is just 1% of that of the Earth, how can this helicopter manage to fly at all?

Apparently the atmosphere there is 96 percent carbon dioxide and temperatures average -80 degrees Fahrenheit, elon musk says hes going to colinate mars hahaha, he can go on his own.

Why no video of the takeoff, ascent, hover, descent and landing? Just it in a hover? Odd when its supposedly such a landmark event. Anyone could have done that telemetry graph, in 5 minutes on Excel I could create that graph. I was hoping to see the flight! Personally not convinced, as there is no evidence other than people in orange shirts clapping.
