Great information!! Most women think breast cancer symptoms are only a lump in the breast. Women NEED to know about ALL of these symptoms. I was diagnosed with Paget’s Disease, of which you mentioned a symptom! When it started, I had NO idea it was a symptom of breast cancer. THANK YOU for sharing g this!!

The only sign I had was itchy n*pples. And I mean persistent itching.
I couldn't do anything about the itch. I tried hydrocortisone cream, antihistamines, lotions and ointments, but I itched through the night.
I'd just turned 40 and went to my doctor who ordered a mammogram and sure enough I had Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
That was 2.5 years ago and after 2 lumpectomies (margins, sigh) I've been cancer free ever since.

If something isn't right, talk to your doctor. I never thought itching would be a cancer sign then I discovered I had cancer.

In my family the first symptom is usually breast pain outside of the menstral cycle. I've had relatives who only had breast pain as a symptom. They pushed for an ultrasound and mammo thankfully.

I had scabbing across my boobs. Was terrified and got it checked out. Turns out it was shingles, so thank God it wasn't anything serious. But good to get anything abnormal checked out for sure.

I had invasive lobular breast cancer, no tumour. Only found on MRI, the ultrasound, and mammogram were clear. 3 years next month since my surgery. I would be dead now without that MRI.

for me, my only sign of my cancer was a hard lump that didn't go away, which started as the original diagnosis of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, which was later identified as stage 3b inflammatory breast cancer.
