Gord, I have to say, your feature ring examples are the most informative on the internet. I bought the Ray Allen book and Malcolm Tibbets book and was still a little confused. But after watching your videos it cleared up so much. Thanks!

It's a good thing we have people like you around to explain things, Gord! It didn't help, you understand, my pea sized brain is full of a lifetime of useless information. Besides, I've already forgotten what I just learned from you but it was darned interesting while I was learning it and not half-bad as I was forgetting it!
You are a great teacher! Well explained, easy to understand, clear photography. A really good video, my friend! Have a great evening! See ya next time!

Nice job on the feature ring. Good tip on waiting for the table saw blade to stop before proceeding. That’s true for the sliding miter saw too.

One of the best videos that I have seen Gord. Full of great tips, all I need now is a bench saw :-) Take care, John

Learned a lot from watching you show how you get your different shapes. Your other bowls you showed are awesome works of art and lots of Patience. Beautiful!!

Upright or upside down, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; do another ring and turn one up and the other down then decide. Great job.

I built the nine part diamond bowl twice, 2nd time is the largest bowl I have made. Thank you. I guess it was 5 or 6 Year’s ago.

Thanks Gord! I'm still a new turner and haven't ventured into segments. This is great information for when I do. Thanks so much!!!

Another good one Gord. Working with angles is one thing that throws a lot of people. I think you explained the process very well. I believe your other segmented videos cover the angle process quite well also. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.
