Pooh still remembered the good times with Christopher Robin, but even if Pooh wanted to forgive him, it was simply impossible for him, not with all the bad things he's done including eating Eeyore alive and forgetting that Chris abandoned him by breaking his promise, all hope of redemption for Pooh was gone with Eeyore's death.

In this moment Pooh showed there was still a small trace of the loving creature he once was.

Now I understand why Christopher Robin abandoned his friends because he doesn’t want to take them to college because people get confused or scared or judging and they’ll think they’re monster and they’ll torture them or worse they’ll kill them

I think I'll stick with the 'Goodbye Christopher Robin' and 'Christopher Robin' movies from 2018.

Even though I haven't watched the entirety of this film The plot kind of hits hard. Not just because it soils beloved childhood characters but also because of a more unique story in my case. My grandpa and I used to go to this park and he and I used to pretend it was the hundred acre Wood and we would imagine all the characters being there (we even built Eeyore's house together and sometimes he would call me on the phone and tell me someone knocked it down and we would have to put it back together) (and coincidentally enough the tree that we pretended Owl lived in actually fell down after a hurricane. We were speechless). We would even pretend that the characters would watch after their apartment for them when they went away to Florida for the winter. But ever since my grandparents moved away from the area almost 15 years ago I have not been back once. With that said I noticed that it's really similar to this movie (thankfully everything was all imaginary and there are no bizarre feral humanoid animal creatures capable of hurting anyone)

This is so sad, but why the heck did he even want to go to college? Just take them with you if there's no other option

The movie could have worked. That's what I'm mad about. If they had more money for better props and expanded on the complexity and moral drama of Pooh, this really could have worked. That's what I'm mad about.

I will never remember Winnie the Pooh the same way again. What a way to fuck up, indeed.
