So glad you like your Kenwood Sense. I loathe it. It is too bulky, inefficient, clumsy and difficult to manoeuvre. Then, to add insult to injury, and as it didn't come with this attachment, I ordered the citrus juicer. It is even worse than the actual mixer. It took me three times as long to juice my oranges and on top of that I now have shoulder pain. The actual juicing cone is so smooth that it doesn't have much effect unless one squeezes the sides of the fruit and presses strongly on it, and this is on maximum speed as on the recommended speed, nothing comes out. It is an abominable design fault.

I don't know where to start my criticism of this machine.

Firstly, I state that I have had a Sunbeam Mixmaster (which came wit citrus juicer attachment) for 55 years - a wedding gift. Sadly, it stopped working. So, I went out looking for a replacement and was convinced by the sales person the Kenwood was top of the range??? I saw it has a 1400W motor so assumed it would be much more powerful than my Mixmaster. WRONG. The first time I used it, it took more than three times longer to whip up the 4 eggs than my old machine had.

After the first use, I was so disappointed I 'phoned the store to return it. This was refused. I was told I should put it on gumtree, or some other, to sell it!!!

I have persevered, in trying it for bread use and, although, again it takes a long time. Probably the best result for this machine is to make bread. It's practically useless to cream butter and sugar as the beater does not reach the bottom and at the end of cake making, the dimple at the bottom of the bowl has lumps of butter on it. I have never found it necessary to scrape the very bottom of a bowl before....

Now have decided it is only suitable for a strong male who is over 170 cm tall and very strong and not very fussy.

The last time I went to where I purchased it, I noticed they no longer stock this monstrosity but have the smaller models which were not there before. Maybe, someone else has seen the light.

Just a idiot like me buys kmix instead Kitchenaid. Almost impossible to achieve accesories for lazagna, not to mention the Ravioli maker. Local official distributors of Kenwood seems to be flooded in money, as mine they don't want to take despite I am desperately trying to buy accesories form them. They say now because the corona they have problems with supply, that's bullshit, it is a lie. they are just a class-b international corporation that don't target the customer as one of its priority.
