Jocko, the things you say are the types of things I tell myself in my head during tough times - but hearing it from another real person (and spoken with considerably more conviction than I can muster on my own) ... well, let's say it got me out of bed this morning - and that's saying something.

My dad always gives the advice "invest in yourself, you know you won't screw yourself". I'm doing that, I'm working harder than I've ever worked to start my own business. I haven't had a day off, including weekends, in a month. The work feels so rewarding though, it's almost not work. I don't feel like I need a break yet. I'm also taking Jocko's advice, if you feel like you need a break, maybe. But wait a day and see if you still feel that way. So far, it turns out, it was just the voice of weakness.
