Lately it seams like everyone is paying big money for a mini jeep to cruise around or they're buying a mini bike instead. But what if an affordable marketplace mini bike goes head to head with an affordable marketplace used 2 stroke mini dirtbike? Well, we plan to find out but not before asking our motorcycle expert friend Craig from @The_Bearded_Mechanic to give us his opinion on the matter.

On the Coleman mount the seat on springs! I have done that on a Duddle bug and a Coleman style mini!

It would be neat to see you do a video about upgrading the Coleman with aftermarket kits - suspension, electric start, etc. Just to see what you can do to correct some of the weak points. It's a cool bike IMO!

Another bonus of the KX is it's already the right color!! IMO the biggest detractor of the KX is the 2 stroke while the transmission is it's best feature. Paint the Coleman green and it's an even race, because the centrifugal clutch is so much better for rideablity. A carb could increase the power enough that Shana could keep up with you on the KX. Check out Mike Festiva and the things he did to his Coleman.

I had a Coleman mini bike when I was young back in the 70's ! My stepmother worked at Coleman ! Mine had a manual transmission and my sister's had a automatic transmission !

I've owned a couple mini bikes and I loved them. For what they are, they are a lot of fun. That being said, I always wanted to get more power. I would love to see how much power you can get out of the Coleman.
