SpaceX Starlink satellites spotted in the night sky over western Washington

Streaks of light in the night sky over western Washington caught the eye of stargazers, again, Tuesday night.

People shared photos and videos on social media just after 9 p.m. Tuesday showing a long streak of lights moving through the sky. People reported seeing the lights from Bellevue, Puyallup, Covington and even Portland, Ore.

I saw some today like at 8:40pm in fresno ca but it didn't look anything like that. They where at least 80 of of them following each other with a perfect distance from each other and they where disappearing.

My son and I saw something similar to that when we were looking at the stars. The one we saw was closer and bigger than that. It was moving slow over our heads and had dimmer lights on the bottom. It was so quiet, we didn't hear any sound.

Yeah they crushed my dreams. I was soooo excited that I was seing UFOs! It looked liked there was about to be an intergalactic battle for the dominance of earth. It was awesome!

Seen them in new mexico these evening was like 100 of them in a line was pretty awesome...tripped me out tho haha

Just seen it in ca, it looked like a lot more then 60 to me and they where much more spread out then that.

The SpaceX Starlink Satellites just passed through Neck City, MO at 9:55pm stream of lights, was beautiful to see only see once in a lifetime

I saw hundreds of lights in a straight line moving across the sky just thirty minutes ago when I was walking back to my house

Saw it early this morning, around 4:15, here in SE Wyoming. 20-30 lights in a string. Crazy!

Dude i just saw HUGE starlink train! Looked like around 100! 9pm to the east. Very bright. Every dog in the neighborhood started barking.

That was awesome to see- our sighting was about ten pm in So. Colorado. My wife was pretty freaked out!! LOL. I have to admit it was a bit comforting to come in and Google find out what it was. It's also cool to just happen to look up and see the space station zooming by from time to time.

I'm in AZ and just saw this outside and we where fricking out about it and still are.

Just saw it down here in SoCal. Freaked me out after I just got done watching Battle Los Angeles and not knowing about Starlink lol

Counted more than 60 though. Saw a first batch of about 20 then seemed like a whole ring of dots across the entire sky with about 10 popping up every 5 seconds for about 5 minutes straight.

Saw them in Maryland....nope not satellites....it came out from nowhere at the same point and went across the night sky into nowhere at the same point. As if there was an invisible door that they came through and went back out into an invisible door...Best description I can give...if they were satellites than explain why they didn't continue to go across the sky??? Distance traveled...have 2 acres of land ...they appeared and disappeared about an acre across the the land in the sky!
