The story of her being trans was debunked hours after it spread but Rowling, supposedly a feminist, trashed her on social media and can’t even manage a halfhearted apology. It goes to show that Rowling isn’t an otherwise nice person who happens to be wrong on one issue.

It's so sad to me that JK Rowling of all people has turned around to become the face of such a horrible hate movement. She's a beloved children's book author! For all we know Imane Khelif could've grown up on her books! She's about the right age for it, born in 1999, just slightly younger than me, she would've been old enough to read books while the series was still being released.

Even if Imane was never a fan of the series, we know for a fact that many trans kids were, the fact that JK Rowling is being so hateful towards many of her own adoring fans who grew up admiring her and her writing is just- Sad, deeply deeply sad, I don't know how she lives with herself.
