Absolutely disgusting what was said about her. She's a biological female with elevated natural testosterone. That's normal for female athletes. It's not a reliable 'check', and they judged her based on her looks if they didn't judge her based off that. Her country doesn't even allow transitions, so she couldn't transition even if she wanted to. I hope Rowling and Musk lose millions and are forced to issue public apologies admitting that they didn't fact check. Reguardless of where you land on trans people competing in sports, these kinds of accusations probably ended with her getting death threats and having sponsorship deals. Rowling and Musk are guilty of slander and should be punished as such.

Reading over the IOC framework document, it's kind of strange how contradictory and internally inconsistent it is when describing discrimination and inclusion.

The entire basis of segregating events to exclude males is inherently discriminatory. Equality of opportunity would have everyone competing together.

Since it is desired to have a protected class fork of events, the grounds for qualification need to be clearly defined and strictly enforced to maintain it.

A similar situation arose surrounding Caster Semenya, and it was ruled that while testosterone limits are discriminatory, it serves the purpose of protecting female sport.
