Weavers ants are also pretty cool and have really good eyesight. They make their nest by using the baby ants or larvae to sew the leaves together to make a leaf nest.

They have relatively large eyes compared to most other ants…… interesting, never knew an ant species that rely on vision.

Uea i agree that's so awesome I know alot about fauna, bit did not know until now there is a species of ant that jump like a cricket so cool!

I don’t think many if any other ants jumping so this is a unique surprise to say the least but a welcome one. They looks so elegant with their eyes and slender but muscular looking hind legs.

They've always been my favourite species, always wanted a colony but they're so expensive, hard to find for sale and difficult to look after, maybe when I have more experience I'll be able to keep a colony
