The Yellow Jackets led by as many as 21 early in the fourth quarter. Georgia Tech's Toni Morgan scored a game-high 23 points. Freshman Dani Carnegie scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds. For North Carolina, Maria Gakdeng had 21 points and six rebounds. Alyssa Ustby was held to just two points, but she still had 10 assists and eight rebounds.
