The No. 20 North Carolina Tar Heels held off a tough Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets squad and came away with a 68-65 win at home. Seth Trimble was once again a big part of the win for Hubert Davis' club, scoring a team-high 19 points on 5-6 shooting from the floor and 8-9 shooting from the FT line with 7 rebounds and 4 steals in the win. R.J. Davis added 16 points and Ian Jackson chipped in 15 points for the Heels. Lance Terry scored 22 points and Baye Ndongo added 19 points with 12 rebounds to pace Damon Stoudamire's club in the loss.

Elliott Cadeau is way over rated as a passer.when you turning the ball over as much as he is that not good. Sometimes the simple pass is better. That was the only thing he could hang his hat on. He going to hit a shot on occasion but consistently that won't happen. Cade Tyson is so out of the moment it hard to look at. At least he hit the rim today. Playing at Belmont is not big time an it is glaring. Davis needs to start Brown Jackson and Powell. Until Cadeau figures it out let him sit. Bacot, Ingram and Ryan erased his mistakes. RJ Davis is absolutely horrendous. His decision to come back is so far a flop. He better enjoy his college money because the NBA is just a dream.
