Excellent video! Just what I needed. One of my Instances would not connect for some reason and I want to remove it without having to uninstall everything including all my other Instances. Who would've thought you uninstall the exact same way as any other programs lol. I like how SQL Server allows you to uninstall each Instances.

When i tried this it stopped on GLobal Rules - on the item listed "restart computer" it had the error mark and said failed

Possibly a bit of a dumb question, but interesting to get a conceptual answer. Can I remove the default instance MSSQLSERVER and stay with two secondary ones [each of them is responsible for a separate product]? Is there any reason to leave default instance in such case?

When I restart to remove another instance it still says to restart because it failed…. What does that mean

Please help me, I follow the steps but I don't get the same "Remove SQL Server 2019" window. In fact, I don't get that Repair, Add, Remove splash window. All I get is a box asking if i'm sure i want to continue to remove, I press yes and it seems to remove but the servers are still showing under services.

Hi whe i was uninstall SQL sever 2012 i am getting an error like there was an error attempting to remove the configuration of the product which prevents any other action from occuring. The current configuration of the product is being cancelled as a result.

Any solution for this please help us to resolve the issue
