Read the bracket you’re installing. Calls for 3/4” diameter fastener. Also ^ washers are like 50 cents…

Put your feet on both sides to hold it in place before you tighten it the ONE TIME. so it doesn't move on you.

The bolt is designed for interior projects and requires a washer if the base plate is 12 gauge steel or thinner, per the manufacturer’s specs. That base plate is 12 gauge steel. Use the washer!!
