Update and Forecast for Windy Fire, KNP Complex, Other California Wildfires, and Red Flag Warning

Good news and bad news for wildfire in California. The first real rainstorm since Spring ended up bringing up to an inch of rain directly over the McCash Fire, River Complex, and Monument fire. Fire activity has significantly decreased throughout Northern California. Unfortunately, as the low exits CA, our first offshore wind event will move in behind it leading to critical fire danger due to gusty winds and low relative humidity.
Throughout this video, we'll dive into all the important updates, as well as the fire weather forecast to predict how the Windy Fire, KNP Complex, Monument Fire, and other California Wildfires may change in the coming days.

WRF-SFIRE Description:
We run this model out of the San Jose State Fire Weather Research Laboratory. It combines the current fire perimeter and hot spots with the fuel, weather, and topography variables. What makes this wildfire model one of the best in the world is its ability to simulate how the wildfire will create its own weather, which then impacts the wildfire.

Johnsondale is a R-Ranch they have 150+ cabins and alot of extremely dead and dry pine trees. I called in a fire between there and South Creek Falls around 3 months ago

The BSA Camp Whitsett is in near proximity to Johnsondale. This area has had several wildfires in this area. One of my sons worked at Camp Whitsett and had to evacuate. This was in the early 2000s.

October 21st 1991 the great Oakland firestorm blew up with the Diablo winds at midnight it was 60° and it already rained twice everyone was relaxed and ready for holiday season instead we got incinerated! 33000 homes burned 40 people lost their lives never forget
