Non-Contact ACL Tear Mechanics
Показать описание
Injury position on right side - pronated foot, everted ankle position, knee in, heel down. The knee going inwards with the heel down and inside ankle down is asking for trouble.
Another commonality with non-contact ACL tears besides foot pronation and ankle eversion is rotation away from the plant leg so effectively you have energy stored in two directions at once instead of only in one direction. Here energy is going to the players' right on the right leg while his torso is simultaneously sending energy to his left.
See these videos for properly sending energy in one direction and maintaining foot/ankle integrity to avoid injury.
