Hi. Couple of incorrect remarks..It. is not 85kw. This is a 63kw engine. I had one. Also not a gti competitor the gsi was.

But a great car. Drove and loved mine..ended up heavily modded wiith cam..balanced engine..higher compression etc. Ended up putting more power at the wheels than oem on the engine.

I thought it was a 2.0 8 Valve C20NE, I had a Corsa B with the C20NE from the 200is kadett with 288° camshaft, ported, gasflowed & skimmed cylinder head, swirled valves, 43mm individual throttle bodies from the 4age 20 Valve RXi corolla, Opel OPC injectors, bigger pistons 84mm, it did 138 kilowatts & 235nm on avgas fuel and 121 kilowatts & 211 nm on pump fuel 95, I ran a 13.8 second 1/4 mile
