This Egyptian Scammer THREATENED Me…🇪🇬

Egypt's most famous scammer is still in Cairo, and he's still scamming tourists. Do not accept a "Free tour" from him, or do it at your own risk. The situation can get really uncomfortable, as you can see towards the end.
Egypt is a beautiful country with amazing people, you should visit it, but do not fully trust everyone.

I visited Egypt 20 yrs ago and was harassed to the point that I decided never to return. I see nothing has changed in all these years. Police doesn’t do anything about it either. It’s a shame.

My neighbour (older middle-aged man in his 60s) just came back from Egypt and his spirit is BROKEN. He was scammed by a hotel worker and then blackmailed by the hotel worker’s policeman friend to pay more or he would arrest him. I felt so bad for my neighbour, who is a sweet natured man, single and was mourning the loss of his mother - and wanted to treat himself to a once in a lifetime trip. I have always wanted to see the ancient Egyptian historical sites but I will never step foot in this nightmare of a country. My poor neighbour felt embarrassed telling me, and sounded like he felt in constant fear on his vacation. What an awful country.

We went to Egypt for a Nile cruise, and go so sick of being harassed for money, by everyone even the police, that we vowed to never return, it’s like the whole population are beggars. Shameful.

I met a friendly girl in Egypt and she took me through 6th of October city which is part of Greater Cairo. It was so NICE to just not get harassed like I did in the center of Cairo.

Got to eat proper local food, not get targeted by locals despite clearly being a tourist.

I was half expecting the girl to scam me to be honest. I was not used to people being so friendly and open to hanging out, I was on edge because of my bad experience in the first couple of days in Cairo.

She was just a lovely soul. She refused to let me pay for anything as well and got mad at me when I tried.

انا عربي من العراق زرت مصر سياحه قبل سنوات قليله وهاذي شهادتي:-
حقيقه بلد جميل خصوصا البحر وشرم الشيخ
ايضا هناك تناقض رهيب بين مناطق معدمه وفقيره ومناطق راقيه جدا
عكس بغداد التي تغلب عليها المناطق المتوسطه
ايضا الاكل المصري رهيب واحببته
واجواء الليل في القاهره من الخيال
والشعب خدوم جدا ومحب لنا كعراقيين
بالعموم الفرد المصري مسالم عكسها نحن العراقيين فنحن مع الاسف لدينا العصبيه والتعصب
أما المصري متسامح ومتعايش مع كل شيء
لكن هناك مع الاسف البعض دائما يحاول ان ينصب عليك بمختلف الطرق وهم بصراحه قله
لكن كانت تجربه رائعه لان مصر لديها سحر لا مثيبل له ابدا
والشعب بسيط ومثقف واجتماعي وخالي من الحقد او العقد النفسيه
