2003-2007 Accord V6 Automatic (7th Generation) Passenger Side Engine Mount replacement

Applies to 7th Gen Honda Accord 2003-2007 V6 Automatic transmission.

Symptoms included vibrations on startup, clunking sounds while driving on bumpy roads, clicking and squeaking when coming to a stop or accelerating from a stop. Initially thought is was issues with my front suspension; upper/lower control arms, sway bar bushings, ball joints, etc. but this was all tight. I will mention that I had already replaced all 4 strut assemblies which were worn out.

Conclusion: After changing the front engine mount, the ride was quieter but I could still hear some clunking and odd noises here and there when going over bumps. Turns out, I needed to replace the passenger side engine mount and driver side upper transmission mount. Now the ride is so much quieter and smoother. I took it on the most broken road in my area and it handles like new.

Very well done. Good tip about jacking up the engine to close the gap! Several good tips! Just had the front engine/transmission mount replaced. Like night and day improvement.

It's culled a breaker bar. A pry bar. Is something totally different.

Did it seem like you had to jack up up a lot to close that gap? And is the bracket supposed to be sitting on the new mount after the replacement or slightly floating above?

Passenger side motor mount the bracket that’s mounted to the motor still after pulling of the top bracket, do you know where I can find that bracket (the one still mounted on the engine) crossed threaded them on my accord need a new one
