Night Exterior Behind the Scenes - LOCKDOWN

This film started production in 2021 during the height of the pandemic (as you can tell we are all wearing masks in the video. Something I'm happy is a thing of the past).

The film started as a creative outlet that myself and my friends needed while we were staying at home during the COVID lockdowns. Although the film is named after the lockdowns the story has nothing to do with COVID. Rather it's a thriller comedy that uses dark comedy to lighten the mood.

I upped the production value on this film bringing in more lights, gear and crew. And with that, a lot more effort during production and post production.

In the video we showcase the behind the scenes to our night exterior scene. Night scenes are always difficult especially when you don't have the money or firepower to get the BIG lights you really need to film properly. In my case we used many 2K LED L:upos and positioned them in a way to create pockets of light our characters would walk in and out of. This way we can use the darkness to our advantage and it will provide some contrast to the scene.
