Wife gets mad when I buy gear, but when I come home with garbage bags and helium she won’t suspect a thing…

I’m learning things! I love how you show how these techniques are used in movies and stuff and you are able to replicate them at home.

That trick of putting a roll of ND on the lightbulb is incredible. I can't believe I hadn't thought of that before!

Love these vids. I find it tough to find good practical lighting tips and breakdowns on YouTube outside of wandering dp. Especially from people actually working in the industry. Loved the 16mm videos too. Keep it up!

This is everything I pretty much needed to learn about lighting! Making it more dynamic, moody and real. Thank you so much.

The way you embody these techniques you're teaching is incredible.
We can feel everything's coming from your actual experience which is not to be taken for granted on Youtube.
Keep going 👏👏

Love the helium trash bag idea. Did the opposite once for a night shoot where we filled a 20 ft weather balloon with air and hoisted it over trees to use as a bounce source for moon light and it came out great.

By far I have learned more with your setup behind scenes that I have from my education of 4 years in film and tv production. Wow! Thank you and do more of this. It’s great too learn from you 🙏

First video of your's I've seen and can honestly say love this format man. You nail everything spot on of how you do your breakdowns with dope examples. Also great to see actual working cinematographers more on YT making dope content, insta-subscribed.
